Winter Weather in Midwest

Hello everyone! Right now the ice of the storm that is going through the Midwest is pretty much attacking my town. All the schools let out early, and the roads are just becoming slick, and it is quite possible for me to lose power this week. Sounds fun, huh? Anyways, enough with the griping and onto random stuff. Hmm... Oh yes. Report cards came in the other day, and thankfully my semester finals didn't screw up my grades. Especially since I got a C on one of my finals >.> And frankly, thats about it for this week. When it gets cold here, it is just miserable. Lots of curling up with my laptop next to the fire is yet to be done. :)
Anyways, everyone stay warm and cozy until the storm gets by!

Is Cities XL really up to the hype?

I know I may get a whole bunch of enimies for saying this, but is Cities XL really up to the hype? I have seen the screenshots and have to say that I'm not entirly impressed. I know Monte Cristo is only about 80 people strong, so there will be some limit to how much additional content and such there is, but even then the highways and other roadways are mediocre at best. However, I am not condemming Monte Cristo, in fact I am commending them for such an ambitious project, and I think the basic programming for the intial city simulator road networking and such was phenomenal. I just think to much hype is being created for the game at this point. Is there anybody who agrees with me, or am I alone in the Cities XL sea?

Bone Problems

Yea... The title probably has you freaked out right? Well, about 5 weeks ago, I fractured my arm. Again. Well fast-forward to today, and I got my cast off. Today! Except now I have to wear a wrist brace for 4 weeks.... Grr. No baseball for me...
BTW... If you're wondering, I did the same thing last year. On the same day. Odd? I think so.

Band/Singer Of The Month

Hey! I very recently started to actually be intrested in many bands, and so I decided to make a band of the month sequence! For the first couple of months, I will more than likely put my own down. However, when enough people start to view my blog, I'll do a viewer band of the month as well! Just leave a comment under this entry on your vote for band of the month!!!

For the month of May, the band is.... *drumroll* LINKIN PARK!!!! Check out some of their songs at this YouTube adress:

Welcome!!!

Hi! If you are reading this, you have arrived! (Either accidental or purposefully (: ) Hopefully I will have more stuff posted in the near future, but right now I am focusing on trying to get some decent cities in my newest region. Assuming that goes well, I may even start posting a city journal!!! Here's to good luck!!! ~Glory
