The 6th Congressional District of Minnesota should have their right to vote revoked.

It is an embarassment that the land of Progressive Democrats, Minnesota, has a member of such repugnant beliefs and ideas representing a large swath of its people. How can a state that helped kickstart the modern Unionist movement - which I admit has recently become problematic - held the first class action sexual harassment lawsuit and had its largest city at one point have 5 openly gay members and 2 Green Party members. For crying out loud, our Democrats are technically called "Democrat-Farmer-Labor". Yet we still have this ding bat in power... there are no words to describe her idiocy other than her own...

And this is just a very TINY fraction of why the 6th Congressional District of Minnesota should have its right to vote revoked. She was re-elected in 2008 despite many controversies prior to the November ballot.

Point 1: Swine Flu.... coincidentally under the Democrats!! Unfortunately she doesn't recall the correct President during the last outbreak...

Point 2: Carbon dioxide is harmless... cause its natural? So is cyanide you dunce!?! Be a global warming skeptic all you want, but damn... get your logic right. By the way, its 0.03%, not 3% of the atmosphere. And Republicans wonder why they lost the educated vote in 2008. You've got completely legitimate ideas, THIS is not one of them :\

Point #3: I'm sorry... McCarthyism should be dead.

Point 4: I don't know where to start commenting... she's just stupid. Thank God we balance her ignorance by having America's only Muslim representative.

Point #5: Oh jesus... again... where do I start... Read the Constitution you IDIOT!

Therefore I move that the 6th Congressional District of Minnesota cannot decide for itself and must therefore have its constitutional right to vote removed for the next ten years. There are legitimate Conservative or Republican ideas (note, that I don't group them) that are more than acceptable to consider. Saying that Obama wants to create re-education camps to FORCE young people to believe government propoganda (yes, I'm not lying, she suggested this, even Republicans are confused). Take the crazy out of the Republican party and bring it back to an intellectual discussion. I'm starting to wonder if the Republican party will die out and will rely on the Democrat party becoming to large and splitting in half for a New Republican Party. Yes, There are equally stupid Democrats, but I'm merely suggesting that just this woman has to go.

Patricius Maximus's Gravatar An interesting compilation of all the foolishness of Michelle Bachmann. However, I never support any idea to remove a person or group of people's right to vote (even as a joke).

Bachmann can often be paranoid and irrational, but she has a good basic inclination of skepticism, and I personally believe the prediction of America having re-education camps for youths is a credible one in the long-term future, but certainly not for at least 5 years.

Kenny's Gravatar I respectfully disagree. This is clearly satirical and not meant to be taken serious... the purpose of a joke. I dont' see how anyone could be worked up about me joking about getting rid of people's right to vote. Clearly I don't support taking anyone's right to vote away.

Additionally, skepticism is okay. Hateful fearmongering based on NO facts (or flat out lies in almost all of these cases) is NOT reasonable skepticism. This is reasonable skepticism...

"Socialized medicine will increase the tax burden on an already highly taxed population"

This is Michelle Bachmann skepticism... (this is not her, I'm making this up) "Did you know that socialized medicine has led to an increase in cancer? And did you know that Democrats would gain the most out of this by getting free healthcare to ACORN and making anyone with more than $25,000 pay full price?"

See, I should be a representative. I can do this pretty well.

Additionally, there are NO, and I mean NO provisions, inclinations, musings, or passing whimsical daydreams of re-education camps. NONE. What I don't get about the conservatives and Republicans in this country is that they are SO adamantly keen on calling Obama Facist when Bush has done FAR more things that belong under the actual term of Facism. Be a legitimate opposition, thats a good thing. But being crazy and using slander and lies is not legitimate. The Republicans lost this election, Democrats didn't win it. Its that simple. The Jesse Helms, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter need to be removed from this party's image to recover. I'm not a raving Democrat, but I've lately had no choice. In my opinion, I find it weird that social conservatives are in the Republican party. I always thought that "less government intervention" included minority rights and social liberty.
