Geneva to upgrade infrastructure&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Collanden Department of Transportation Secretary, Arthur Macmillan, announced today that downtown Geneva will receive a massive infrastructure upgrade. Streets will be repaved, new bus stations will be installed, and a few select subway stations will be upgraded to deal with the increase of traffic. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The overhaul of the transportation system will begin September 9th. Macmillan says that all above-ground work will be completed by December 1st, to avoid having to deal with snow. During the winter months, the subway system will receive its upgrade. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Collanden to hold festival in honor of the arts&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Department of Culture Secretary Robin Sibelius announced today that a nationwide festival will be held in honor of the arts. Starting August 30th and continuing through Saturday of that week, the event promises to be full of creativity and fun. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&quot;The festival will be have many of the worlds best performers, and will include performances of Tchaikovsky&apos;s 1812 Overture performend by the Geneva Symphony Orchestra, Tchaikovsky&apos;s Piano Concerto No. 1 performend by Martha Argerich, and much more&quot;. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
At the end of the festival, the Department of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Geneva Parks Foundation will hold an event showcasing the League of Nations members. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Depending on how long the League Summit lasts, leaders from all member nations are invited to join the celebration.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Collanden Applies to League of Nations&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/strong&gt;GENEVA - Prime Minister Gordon Kristoffer announced today in a morning press conference that Collanden as officially applied to the League of Nations. Hoping for both trade and diplomatic partners, Prime Minister Kristoffer decided that the LoN was the nation&apos;s best option, after considering COFR, IPON, the SCJU, and other unions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&quot;So far, the response has been overwhelmingly positive&quot;, said the Prime Minister.&lt;br /&gt;
